Beer Description
This all-American original style beer has been known for over a hundred and fifty years as the “Steam Beer”. Once brewed right here in Virginia, this style is more recently called “California Common”. Author Jack London wrote of this crowd-pleasing light amber beer brewed using Lager yeast, yet fermented like an Ale. The result is a complex and flavorful, yet smooth brew.
