Beer Description
Oakland Pride is a Ginger IPA inspired by the outpouring of support for the Oakland A’s LGBT night at the Coliseum, specifically, that of Eirann Dolan and A’s pitcher Sean Doolittle. We wanted to follow suit and create a charity-beer fit for this great night. Oakland Pride opens up with a big aroma of fresh cut ginger root, the ginger slowly fades revealing a heap of complex hop ranging from tropical pineapple-like aromas to bold floral notes. Its flavor profile finishes off with a mildly malty backbone with notes of toffee and honey that pair perfectly with the ginger; creating a balance of flavor throughout all three components.
