Beer Description

The Lagunitas NYC Fusion 9 Ale was constructed during a trip in June of 2012 in Petaluma, CA with the help of Brooklyn Homebrew’s (and Lagunitas Homebrew contest winner) Kyler Serfass, Kirk Struble of Fourth Avenue Pub and Carolyn Pincus of The Stag’s Head. It’s a White IPA brewed with roughly half Northwestern Pale Malt, half Wheat Malt & Flaked Oats. Dosed with two varieties of experimental hops from Washington State’s Perrault Farms including HBC-342 (codename “Watermelon Jolly Rancher”) and a clandestine “Ghost Hop” so secret that they have not dared to name it! Finished with a healthy charge of Citra hops and Grains of Paradise, this beer is flavorful enough to attack the late summer doldrums! And at only 5.6% abv. you can continue to charge forward to triumph! It’s A Perrault Assault!
