Beer Description
Chocolate, Nutty, Roasty.The coffee contributed rich toffee, chocolate and bright acidity to the beer enhancing its rich nutty and roasty flavor from the malts.
We took our favorite brown ale and approached our friends at Ten Drops Coffee Lab about collaborating on a custom roasted coffee for the beer. They were super exited to try out some new variations of Guatemalan beans they just got in. We cupped 8 variants from different regions in Guatemala and settled on a bean from the city of Huehuetenango which is located in the western highlands region. The coffee contributed rich toffee, chocolate and bright acidity to the beer enhancing its rich nutty and roasty flavor from the malts we use. The crew from Ten Drops have deep roots in music so it was only fitting to use Axis: Bold As Beer as a collaboration backdrop. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we do.
