The flavor is similar to a Cream Ale, due to the high proportion of corn typically used to thin the body to make this a more sessionable style.
Kentucky Waterfall
Kentucky Common is a true American original. Produced between the Civil War and Prohibition, it was the predominant style sold in Louisville, KY. Sadly, the style died with prohibition, as the larger breweries focused on lagers when brewing was re-legalized. Kentucky Common pours a light brown and has a sweet grainy, corn-like aroma. So grab a pint of this rare ale and imagine life as it was 150 years ago. Limited Release. OG 1047, IBU 26, ABV 5%
