Pannepot is dark ale with subtle spicing, and this Special Reserva edition has been aged for 4 years in Chateau Margaux and St. Estephe wine barrels.
In the early 1900s, the village of De Panne was famous for 2 things: the “pannepot”, or fishing boats, that could be seen along the coast, and the unique dark ale enjoyed by the local fishermen. Pannepot is dark ale with subtle spicing, brewed in tribute to the fisherman and their beer and this Special Reserva edition has been aged for 4 years in Chateau Margaux and St. Estephe wine barrels.
