Every year more than 350 million people around the world deal with depression no matter their race, gender, age, religion, or political beliefs. Almost 7% of the US adult population experience clinical depression in a given year and around 40% of them don’t seek help.
Depression is especially prevalent in the alcohol industry and is an issue that’s very personal to us here at Ocelot.
That’s why we decided to get together with some of our friends from around the east coast to collaborate on a beer and donate 100% of the can proceeds to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
The ADAA is a Maryland based, international non profit organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of anxiety, depression and their related disorders.
If anyone you know is suffering from depression or anxiety related disorders please urge them to seek help.
