Made with native Belgian malts, imported candi sugar, and an ester-rich Belgian yeast strain, this Dubbel is a homage to the Trappist Monks who pioneered the style centuries ago. The rich, malty base pairs nicely with spicy notes of clove and pepper derived from the yeast. A high carbonation level leaves this beer crisp and effervescent.
