Beer Description
Our Belgian-style Witbier is brewed with true-to-style coriander and orange peel, but given a Pacific Plate twist and pink hue with the addition of hibiscus.
Unfiltered Belgian witbieren (“white beers”) were named for the cloudiness created by the yeast in suspension, and the traditional crispness and slight tang are due to the high level of wheat used in the mash. Our Belgian-style Witbier is brewed with true-to-style coriander and orange peel, but given a Pacific Plate twist and pink hue with the addition of hibiscus. The name refers to the area of calmer weather found at the center of strong tropical cyclones, and at 5.0% ABV, it’s the perfect brew to enjoy when you’re looking for your own calmer weather.
