Beer Description
Graf, or cider/beer hybrid. Incredibly juicy and fruit-forward, but with a tart, dry finish. Brewed with pomegranates.
Made for Sacramento Beer Week 2019, Forbidden Fruits was developed and brewed with our friends at Two Rivers Cider Company! This brew was inspired by Two Rivers’ flagship cider, Pomegranate. With gallons and gallons of pressed apple juice, this style of beer can also be called a Graf, which is kind of a cider/beer hybrid. However, we felt compelled to put a twist on it and make it a Sour Beer with pomegranate as well. Incredibly juicy and fruit-forward like true apple cider, but with a tart, dry finish, this beer will feel forbidden because it’s just too good to put down.
