Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged:
Every brewery has an Empirical Stoat. They slip between fermenters with various cups and vials, sampling young beer as it makes it’s way through the brewery. They make sure OG is A, FG is T, CC is I, FVs are C, VSBs are D, TP is fully stocked and above all, that the Q has been A’d. That is why I teamed up with our very own one man QA band, Matt Denny, to create a Russian Imperial Stout for the everyday beer drinker. Lower ABV and less bitterness than normal for the style, Empirical Stoat still packs the chocolate, dried fruit and roasty goodness that make the RIS’s so damn G.
