Citrusy aroma. A blend of Caramel Malts tries valiantly to give this beer some balance
Super Hoppy is finally back!!! Super Hoppy Pale Ale is now on tap!!! According to the brew crew, this year’s version features a hop variety “Simcoe” that is similar to the Columbus hop with a high alpha acid, and yet has a distinctive citrusy aroma – think Cascade on steroids. Also starring in the hop lineup are some Goldings, Fuggles, Marynka, and Nugget. A blend of Caramel Malts tries valiantly to give this beer some balance, but it is doomed from the start just to be a highly “over-the-top” hopped brew – a true hopheads nirvana.
