Beer Description
- Brewed for the Black Ale Project in support of Veteran’s Charities. $1 for every pint of this beer sold will be donated to the CNY Chapter of Team RWB. Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. **
- NYS Farm Beer * 82% NYS Malt, 67% NYS Hops *
Schwarzbier is a dark German lager, which is traditionally a lower ABV, and brewed with just enough roasted barley to give it a dark color and a hint of chocolate or coffee flavors. We used HBC472 Experimental hops to give a hint of coconut, and added toasted marshmallows to compliment these flavors.
Malt – Pilsner, Vienna, Chocoalte Rye, Carafa II, Melanoidin.
Hops – HBC 472, Mount Hood, Glacier.
