Beer Description
“Julebuk”, translated from the Danish, means “Christmas Trestle”. Yeah, we’re stumped, too. But what’s in the bottle is not at all confusing. Sensuous, velvety dark Bock, brimming with wafer cookies, caramel, nutty malts, treacle, aromatic spices, dried fruit notes of plums, figs, and raisins, and a hint of black coffee on the finish. The aging potential of this beer is off the charts; maybe five years or more, but it wouldn’t last that long around us. This is a lovely, rib-sticking seasonal with vibrant appeal!
