Saison brewed with Oaxacan Green Corn. Bright and earthy, with a deliberate corn sweetness. Topped with a subtle, flowered citrus fruit finish.
Together with our friends from Is/Was Brewing and Grocery Run Club, we brewed a Saison with Oaxacan Green Corn from Sugar Creek Malt Co., right here in Illinois. A bright and earthy Saison designed to flourish upon whatever your Thanksgiving table may look like this year. A deliberate corn sweetness propelled forward by a spicy, complex, dry and super-crisp, Chicago-made genetic hybrid from Omega Yeast. Topped with a subtle, flowered citrus fruit finish to keep you wanting more. In a year that has kept so many friends and families apart, it has been so beautiful to have a project like this that brought so many of our local friends together.
