Tasting Notes: Dry Red Wine, Berries, Stone Fruit. This beer has an incredible purple hue and an awesome dry red wine characteristic.

This was one hell of a cool project for us to work on! We obtained some cabernet sauvignon grape must and loaded them into our koelship at the brewery. Typically we only utilize our koelship for our wild and spontaneous projects however this time 800 lbs of grape must. We transferred the hot wort onto the must and let it rest for a short period of time before transferring to a stainless vessel for fermentation. The end result gave this beer an incredible purple hue and an awesome dry red wine characteristic. Special thanks to our friends and neighbors at Sable Creek Winery for getting us the grape must!
