Beer Description
Cuvee Freddy is Alvinne’s delicious version of an Oud Bruin Flanders sour ale. To that, they added 20 kilograms of fresh raspberries per 100 liters of beer, and aged it in red wine barrels for several months.
The result is a beer that has the classic ‘sweet and sour’ nature of an Oud Bruin. An early malt sweetness with ripe red fruit flavors gives way to a balsamic vinegar-like acidity, followed by a dry, tart bite from the raspberries.
