Pairs the experimental hop HBC 586 w/ Citra. Straw Yellow in apperance w/ aromas of Guava, Lychee, Lemon, Mango, Peach & Ripe fruit. Flavors ofPeach, Grapefruit & Slight herbal/pine note lead to a Dry mouthfeel & a Tight bitterness that doesn’t linger
Conversation Starter pairs the experimental hop variety HBC 586 with Citra in a dry, crisp West Coast IPA. HBC 586 is one of the most exciting newer, unnamed varieties – I get tons of ripe guava, and lychee, along with a basket of other tropical fruits and a hint of herbal pineyness. Rich, flavorful thiols accentuate the ripeness of the tropical fruits in an enticing way. We kept the body dry and the bitterness tight to let the aromatics of this new hop shine
