Beer Description
This hazy, juicy, brew is the latest release in our rotating #SingleSiloSeries of single hopped, Imperial IPAs. This go around we decided to feature the Amarillo hop, a classic, citrus-forward, American varietal named for its exceptionally bright yellow interior. Ultra Amarillo was brewed with a large proportion of flaked oats and malted wheat in the mash and hops were reserved for the whirlpool and a double dose of dry hopping to keep the bitterness low while maxing out the hoppy aromas and flavors This yellow-orange brew is super easy-drinking with a gentle mouthfeel, a soft, medium body, and a juicy finish characterized by citrusy Amarillo hop character. We get notes of bright citrus (sweet orange, grapefruit, lemon zest, tangerine), grassy forest, and orange blossom flower and herb garden.
