Lurking in the darkest corners of our Palace of Barrels, Recurring Nightmare sleeps but never dies. It re-emerges only when it’s ready. The 2021 edition is a blend of 60% fresh stout, and 40% barrel-aged stouts that have slumbered for different numbers of years in High West, Willets and Heaven Hill whiskey barrels. Each glass contains a bit of every barrel-aged stout we’ve ever produced. Our company history is encoded in the flavors of roasty malt, oak, ethanol and time. Sip and reflect on where you’ve been and where you’re going.
