Prince of Darkness is the next release in our #ArtistTributeSeries, where we pay respect to our favorite musicians, artists, and/or people who have influenced us throughout our lives by brewing up a special beer in their honor?.

This behemoth of an IPA was brewed as a tribute to the Prince of Darkness himself, the great Ozzy Osbourne @ozzyosbourne

We layered protein rich oats and wheat malt atop a base of pale barley malt to give this beer a smooth, medium body. Citra Cryo hops were reserved for the whirlpool to lend their potent flavor and aroma as opposed to bitterness.

During fermentation we dry hopped this hazy brew with aromatic Cryo mosaic and juicy El Dorado hops.

Post fermentation this brew was conditioned on an abundance of raspberry, red morello cherry, dark sweet cherry, and red currant.

The resulting beer will have you going off the rails for the dark, magical intertwining of hops and red fruit flavors. It will blow your expectations like a shot in the dark and ensure there are no more tears.

We get notes of raspberry danish, cherry candies, red currant jam, watermelon Hubba Bubba gum, rose petals, cherry Pop Tart, red fruit by the foot, strawberry preserves, tropical mango, and juicy orange.
