Beer Description
Flavor yet restrained, it’s brewed with dark and roasted malt for a deep ruby-red color. Expect aromas and notes of cocoa and toffee with hints of caramel and honey.
Schwarzbier (“black beer”) is a dark lager that originated in the Thuringia and Saxony regions of Germany and according to legend was first brewed by a knight (“ritter”) centuries ago. Flavor yet restrained, it’s brewed with dark and roasted malt for a deep ruby-red color. Expect aromas and notes of cocoa and toffee with hints of caramel and honey.
This beer is brewed in honor of our Brewer Jake and his company Berserker Company 2-113th IN.
