Beer Description
Shrouded in flames, this world eggs us on and we’re left wondering what we should become. But with feigned indifference we relent. So we let the dice roll. And they will decide our fate. Just days after 2023’s epic Burnpile we teamed up with our friends at Seattle’s Holy Mountain Brewing to concoct a helles lager made from pilsner malt from Epiphany Craft Malt and spelt malt from Asheville’s own Riverbend. Step mashed for depth of flavor, we hopped this offering in the kettle with judicious amounts of German hersbrucker and New Zealand motueka before fermenting cold and lagering in our oak foudre to conjure an experience of fresh baked sourdough batard drizzled in rosemary honey and dusted with fresh lime zest.
