Beer Description
Our long standing relationship with B&E’s Trees started with a random conversation at the Energy Fair. Eric (the E of B&E’s) came over to talk, and a partnership was born that has been nothing but adventure for both of our companies. B&E’s takes fresh bourbon barrels from us to age maple syrup in, then sends them back to us for aging beer. We couldn’t do a 25th Anniversary series without including these barrels. The stout base is the biggest we use in the anniversary series, was aged three years in the maple syrup barrels, then finished for five months in twelve year old Elijah Craig barrels. The flavors of maple and bourbon are both intense in this beer, a sipper, and definitely a bottle to share with good friends.
