Beer Description
Sometimes we all love to get down, throw caution to the wind, and get downright Frieky. Inspired by the long history of Belgian Krieks sour ales conditioned on the famed Montmorency cherry varietal we crafted this modern sour ale with a Friekishly large dose of those same cherries, added mid fermentation using Fortside’s proprietary Fruitimizing technique. Ooey and gooey fruit character is flawlessly balanced by solidly tart ale, finishing clean and beckoning the next sip. Go on, my friends- let your Friek flags fly.
