Beer Description
This is a classic Scotch Ale with a rich, malty body and reddish-brown color. Expect very subtle hop bitterness and aroma. Fermenting at cool temperatures produced a clean ester profile. HBC friend and official photographer, John Warner, brewed this ale with his friend and neighbor (and wine connoisseur), Mark Rosenstein. Mark suggested they name the beer after John’s first granddaughter, Maddy, who was born on May 2nd of this year.
