Beer Description
Built on a robust, golden malt base similar to what you might find in any American IPA, Why The Funk Not, was first soured in the kettle with a blend of Lactobacillus, then boiled and flavored with Chinook, Citra, El Dorado, and Equinox hops. Fermented with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis var. Drei, the result is a tropical fruit forward, moderately sour ale with a refreshing acidity and a firm trailing citrus rind bitterness.
