I taste deep roasted malts and subtle hops. This doesn't have the characteristic fruit yeast flavors that I'm used to in a beer. It's a bit flat, though I'm not sure how much of that isn't my fault. This is quite nice, but nothing special. This is an autumn brew in my opinion. it has a nice deep bite, and not a terrible aftertaste. it's understated.
