Find Boulder Obovoid Stout Oak Aged in

This stout has a muted flavor as though you were trying to taste it after burning your tongue on some hot cheesy pizza. It's like Kraft cheese individual slices: you can still taste the plastic from the texture imparted by the packaging. That may sound very negative, but really it is a nice stout, just missing the initial oomph. The bitter after taste accumulates to leave you very satisfied. Update: I will leave my earlier review because it is funny. My second glass was way better than the first. The second glass was well-chilled and I just ate a dark chocolate bar. Those two factors gave me a very different impression of my second glass. This time the stout was full-bodied and tasty. Update on the update: It's watery. But depending on what you ate with it, it can be filled in to seem full-bodied.

Draft at Good Beer. It pours black with a roasted malt aroma and something earthy?/not sure. Maybe that's the oak. The ABV is pronounced but too much so. The first sip is lightly sweet, mildly bitter and malty, coffee and chocolate. This was a very tasty stout.
