Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout 2010 (10.6) ABV

Our award-winning rendition of the Imperial Stout style, once made exclusively for Catherin the Great. We use three mashes to brew each batch of this beer, achieving a luscious deep dark chocolate flavor through a blend of specially roasted malts. We brew it every year for the winter season. It is delicious when newly bottled, but also ages beautifully for years.

Had as a draft. Black in color with a faint roasted malt nose. You can really taste the high ABV and maltiness with a lingering bitterness afterwards. If you've had Mad Rasputin before, this is his lighter cousin.

Rich, warming malt taste.Looks dark, occluded. I brought a case of 12-oz bottles of this to the tailgate for MLS Cup 2000 in Washington, DC. Drinking 10.6% ABV beers at 11 am is not recommended. X=))
