Pricey in comparison to other fine choices. This beer impressed at first with a chocolate taste ending in anise. But it quickly lost the chocolate nose, then the anise. It became just a thin stout. Can't really explain it better. Ps. I did like that I left with a memory of chocolate on my palate. But no bitterness. That's what's missing that I had trouble describing before.
