WHOA! Pours pitch black with a small brown head. There is a definite alcohol burn in the nose, which is making my eyes tear. Once you get past the burn you pick up notes of sweet chocolate, coffee, vanilla and a slight hint of smoke. The flavor is packed with smokey oak, roasted malts, vanilla and licorice. Warming, thick and full bodied with a dry, dry finish.
