This beer poured like a syrupy beer, but it's character was more like a traditional beer with the carbonation and hops effecting that quality. Overall it is a great tasting stout with a slight bitter note and faint vinegar scent to make this a unique bridge between syrupy stout and dark lager, or the missing link!
