I only had a small taste but was not impressed. This beer was good on the porter end with roasted and caramelly malt flavors and very low to no hop bitterness. I did not pick up any of the peet flavor, though. Perhaps the peet builds as you drink it but when I drink a scotch ale I'm looking for that smokey smack of peet. Too subtle for me.
