THE FIRST RELEASE IN OUR NEW EXPERIMENTAL SERIES IS A RYE IPA BREWED IN THE SAN DIEGO STYLE.WE KEPT THE MALT AT A MINIMUM IN ORDER TO PLAY WITH A NEWLY RELEASED HOP; AZACCA! THERE IS NO COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION FOR THIS HOP BUT THERE ARE NOTES OF TANGERINE AND ICING SWEETNESS (THANKS SIR SILVA). WE COMBINED THIS HOP WITH A BIT OF SORACHI ACE AND NELSON AND THE RESULT WAS DELICIOUS IN A VERY SURPRISING WAY. THERE ARE 3 DISTINCT LAYERS OF HOP FLAVOR: EARTHY, TROPICAL AND CITRUS WITH A SLIGHTLY SPICY BACKGROUND FROM THE MALTED RYE. STEP INTO OUR LAB AND EXPERIENCE OUR LATEST EXPERIMENT.
