Dark roasted malts, thick full body, and a deep bitterness. You don't really taste the 12% abv, but it's not particularly smoooth. There is a bourbony sweetness, but it's just very heavily dark-malty and a bit cloying. I was not a fan and couldn't finish it. But it could just be too think for me. Try it for yourself. :)
