Port Brewing Mongo (8.0) ABV

A Double IPA brewed in memory of the brew cat. Columbus was spawned by Amarillo and Cascade, our first two brewcats, so we decided the beer should really feature a bunch of these hops. As such, there is a massive, almost unmistakeable resinous aroma in the beer created by the judicious use of Columbus, Amarillo and Cascade hops.

Citrusy, delicious west coast ipa

Pours an opaque orange with a big, rocky white head. The piney aroma is full of tropical fruits, grapefruit and pineapple. Just what a DIPA should smell like. The taste is hop forward, sweet fruits and a pleasant bitterness which is long lasting. Medium bodied and finishes dry. Being from NYC, I had to travel to DC so I could sample something from Port Brewing. Can you please make this available in NY? I would drink this everyday.
