After tasting this from a bottle some time ago (Thanks, Steve) I was so glad to see it untethered. This is one of those rewards offered to those that venture beyond their comfort zone & try new things. Captured in my glass are a classic, though light stout with high caramel, vanilla notes. Nothing slaps your face except the uniqueness & as Martha Stewart used to say 'that's a good thing'.

This beer is so ridiculous that I can't stop laughing. It smells and tastes just like its name. Burnt sugar and vanilla hits you in the aroma and taste followed by a soothing alcohol bite. A great way to finish off a meal.

3/7 out of 10: Tastes good (7), but can't drink a whole one (3). Too sweet.

Its got a vanilla sweet butterscotchy taste but the ending when you swallow is so bitter and biting. Its a dessert beer but not partucularly smooth and the sweetness doesn't last. It tastes like a creamy beverage but over all it's kind of meh.
