With the wide selection of beers to choose, no one beer will be perfect for everyone or with every meal. That said, this brew has attitude.. an almost perfect balance of hops and malt with intensity. Not for Coors Lite fans. With a meal its hard not to like. By itself, after a few you'll either lose the appeal of its bite, or more likely end up on the floor. The Bastard rules.

Now I understand why they call it the Arrogant Bastard. This is a full-bodied, no nonsense, hoppy pure flavored beer. It was harsh to the tongue, but there was a sweetness that smoothed it out. Medium carbonation. I like it, but wouldn't kill for it. Then again, I'm not worthy.

Like it a lot, however Founders Dirty Bastard is a bit smoother...love them both! Then again, I AM very sophisticated....
