Poured a clear mahogany with a small off-white head. Not much going on with the aroma except a bit of caramel malt and some raisins and alcohol. The taste is sweet and subtle, with notes of dark fruits and a hint of alcohol. It's full bodied and dry. Descent doublebock I find a little boring.
