This blackberry sour ale was aged in freshly emptied Townshend French oak red wine barrels for 9 months. Flavors of oak and red wine mingle with this medal winning one of a kind sour ale.
Brewed with a French Saison yeast. This is our version of a Belgian Blonde ale. Most of the fruity, spicy, floral and herbal flavors and aromas come from the yeast. Enjoy!
