About the brewery

The brewery in Weißenohe sprang from the Benedictine monastery, which the end of the 10th Century, was first mentioned in writing. It can be assumed that the Klosterbrü- which started brewing beer relatively early because the beer was very popular at that time and for monastic diet counted.
