Corporate Executive Chef Paul Katz and Executive Chef John Madden invite the neighborhood to the “Masters of Mac” Cook-Off on Wednesday, August 27th, with guests choosing the official Mac Master at the end.

The Pour House chefs will go head-to-head with three top Chicago chefs to create an original mac ‘n’ cheese recipe as part of a four-tasting flight.

Bub City‘s Chef Doug Psaltis (Baby Back Mac), SideDoor Chicago‘s Chef Vic Newgren (Cavatappi Mac ‘N’ Cheese), and Three Aces Chicago‘ Chef Matt Troost (Pulled Porchetta Mac ‘N’ Cheese) will be competing for the title with the Old Town Pour House chefs (Baked Truffle Mac ‘N’ Cheese).

Guests can order the flight between 5pm and 8pm and vote for their favorites. Each portion will be paired with the chef’s choice of craft beer from the 90 available drafts at the restaurant. After savoring comfort food and paired sips, guests vote for their favorite with the winner announced at 8pm.
