Chain O'Lakes One Year Beer-Iversary

Chain O’Lakes will celebrate its one-year “Beer-iversary” on Saturday, 23 August 2014 with multiple bands to include Mississippi Stranglers, food by Family Affair, a baggo tournament, and a special release of our Fox River Scotch Ale. Chain O’Lakes Brewing Company unveiled its new Brewery on the site of the original McHenry Brewery on 24 Aug 2013, marking the return of the brewer’s art to the city of McHenry after a 71-year absence. During its first year, Chain O’Lakes Tap room and Bier Garden has become one of McHenry County’s favorite meeting and outdoor establishments to enjoy local craft beer and conversation. Join us in the Brewery Corner Beer Garden for all the activities to include a look at the infamous tunnel that pumped beer across the street to a Speakeasy during prohibition.
