Banish fear of foamy beer. On September 29th skies will clear; our Brooklyn Defender is swooping in to rescue and revive with her bold deliciousness. Join Brooklyn’s Misty Hackworth and Chris Creagh and special guest comic artist Amy Reeder, as they lead the charge with simultaneous Defender Pint Nights at both Barcade Brooklyn and Barcade Chelsea. Brooklyn Defender will be on tap alongside current Brewmaster’s Reserve, Weizenhammer, and Brooklyn Oktoberfest. Amy Reeder, famed illustrator of Rocket Girl and the pen behind this year’s Brooklyn Defender, will be hanging at Barcade Brooklyn to share beers and stories. Chris and Misty will be on hand to give away limited edition pint glasses while supplies last. They both have a set of 3-day Comic Con tickets for one lucky fan, so be sure to get there in time to claim everything you need for this year’s convention (except a costume, that’s on you.)
