About this Event

Oktoberfeast—a new pop-up event for sophisticated drinkers—will feature the best of German and NY State lager and fest beers during two sessions along with a “Veritable Sausage Fest” In addition to a wide variety of German fest beers and the best of NY State microbreweries, Oktoberfeast will have a selection of some of the region’s best sausage, with 10 bratwurst stations from which attendees can choose a “Best Brat” People’s Choice Award, which will be emceed by Take Down’s Matt Timms. Oktoberfeast will feature 20+ of the best fall offerings from NY State brewers and select German-beer importers specializing in Bocks, Kolsches, Pumpkin, and Fest beers. Key features include:

• An array of sausages from Flying Pigs Farm, Fleisher’s Meats, Brooklyn Cured, Starwurst and others (TBA) for a Bratwurst Cooking Competition
• A “sophisticated beer event” with three hours of unlimited pours of special seasonal beer offerings from some of NY State’s best small breweries, including Bridge & Tunnel, Rushing Duck, Secret Engine with Rocky Point, Peekskill Brewing, Barrier Brewing and Singlecut Beersmiths, Third Rail, among others
• Nine Franconian gravity casks from Shelton Brothers Imports, including Weissenohe Monksfest and Weissenohe Bonifacia
• Outstanding German beers from the B. United catalog, featuring beers such as Schneider Weisse and Einbecker
• NY State craft beer from Rushing Duck, Secret Engine with Rocky Point Brewing, Peekskill Brewing, Barrier Brewing and Singlecut Beersmiths, among others
• Live music performances from Dive Bombers, Fireships, and The Shift
• A selection of regional food prepared by New York chefs (available for additional purchase), including BBQ pork tacos, pork skewers with chimmichuri sauce, grilled portabella “burgers”, grilled Mexican corn on a stick, beefsteak sauerbraten, and more

Oktoberfeast is co-produced by the Good Beer Seal and Beer Sessions Radio™ in conjunction with the Fulton Stall Markets opposite the Seaport in Lower Manhattan(200 Front Street at Fulton Street).
