About this Event

BIGFOOT BURIED ALIVE

On Sunday April 11, 2010,

At CIGARS AND STRIPES 6715 w, Ogden Ave in BERWYN

Steve Dressler from Sierra Nevada Brewing and Ronnie Lottz of Cigars & Stripes will bury an Stainless Steele keg of Bigfoot Anniversary Barley Wine (2007) into the cold hard BERWYN ground. In 2012 (right before the end of the world…according to the Mayans), the keg will be exhumed to answer the “aging” question: “Oak or Steel?”

Ronnie Lottz along with famed Chicago independent filmmaker Vito Brancato are producing a film to creatively document this entire process. The film will draw testimony from home brewers and experts, including Steve Dressler himself.

Cigars & Stripes is a bar in Berwyn, IL (Chicago) and the brainchild and psychedelic dream of proprietor Ronnie Lottz. But it’s more than a bar. It’s museum/circus freakshow that serves up cutting edge craft beers .

Cigars and Stripes will unveil the BigFoot Chicken Wings at this Event
yes the same Wings… that will soon make Berwyn Famous!!!

Lottz’s collaboration with indie writer-director Vito Brancato goes back 20 years and includes the cult Chicago favorite TV show, The Razor Show, as well as PBS’s Blackstone, a piece of “historical fiction” that tells of a botched hit on JFK in Chicago one year before Dallas.
