An introduction to the basics of brewing beer in your own kitchen. This class will take you through the essential steps involved in the transformation of simple ingredients into beer and the equipment and resources you will need to get started at home. Join Maggie Fuller, graduate of the UC Davis Master Brewers program and founder of Beer Ethos, as she brings to life one recipe from Sam Calagione’s Extreme Beers: An Enthusiast’s Guide to Brewing Craft Beer at Home. Sam is the founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most innovative independent breweries. You will also have the opportunity to sample several of Dogfish’s own craft brews.
