Iron Monkey Craft Beer Fest

All next week we’re offering 21 different limited release beers on draft. As each one of our regular kegs kick, we will incorporate one of the limited release kegs at random. Come by for the next ten days of monkey-craft-beer-madness (starting Monday April 11th) to find out what limited release beer is being featured and meet our new Beer Manager Matt Cinotti.

A true beer connoisseur, Matt Cinotti first bartended his way through school at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA which then led to an opportunity brewing his own beer including: Mattoberfest, Bock to the Future and Imperial Storm Trooper Stout. Home brewing and craft beers became a healthy addiction for this north Jersey beer geek; so, he began to pour his college degree into a full-time bartending gig.

Matt furthered his career in the hospitality industry by receiving a Business Degree in Culinary Management at the Institute of Culinary Education, where he met Sam Merritt, the institute’s top beer expert and Cicerone. Sam encouraged him sign up and receive his Cicerone certification. Matt’s love for beer soon led him to Hoboken, where he worked four years as a bartender at Onieal’s, followed by a management position at Black Bear Bar & Grill where he set up a beer club, brought in a new line of craft beers and held monthly beer dinners.

Matt now serves as the Beer Manager for the Iron Monkey where he greets and informs customers on valuable craft beer knowledge with a friendly smile and is known for being, “an all around good guy.”
