May 20, Tue at 7:30 PM
On Tuesday, May 20th, the New York City Homebrewers Guild will hold its seventh annual May mead meeting. Paul Holmes, of the Long Island Meadery is our guest speaker and will be talking about mead. Come on in and learn a little about the nectar of the gods as we share commercial and homemade meads. About NYHG: The New York City Homebrewers Guild is the oldest homebrewing club in the New York City area. Founded in 1987, the guild's main purpose was to give homebrewers a rest haven to talk and learn about the aspects of making high quality hand-crafted beers and wines. In the past 20 years, many guild members have moved on from homebrewing into commercial brewing at various brewpubs and breweries.
